| Gene Description | CDH2, cadherin 2, encodes N-Cadherin, an extracellular matrix protein that plays a significant role in cell migration and invasion, especially during embryonic development (PMID: 15349821). CDH2 has been shown to be either upregulated or overexpressed in a variety of cancer types including, but not limited to melanoma, and, downregulation of CDH2 has been observed in neuroblastoma (PMID: 24442140). | ||||||||||
