| Gene Description | TACC3, transforming acidic coiled-coil containing protein 3, interacts with centrosomes and microtubules as well as several other factors to regulate cell division, differentiation, and migration (PMID: 23624299) and is critical for microtubule stability and centrosome integrity (PMID: 32217742). Dysregulation of TACC3 is associated with several tumor types (PMID: 23624299, PMID: 26425723, PMID: 27409839), including FGFR3-TACC3 fusions in glioblastoma (PMID: 31290679), papillary glioneuronal tumor (PMID: 31078809), and cervical cancer (PMID: 26425723), and overexpression of Tacc3 has been associated with poor prognosis in osteosarcoma (PMID: 30024460). | ||||||||||
