| Gene Description | FGF4, fibroblast growth factor 4, is a paracrine member of the fibroblast growth factor family, and plays a role in cell proliferation and differentiation (PMID: 20940169, PMID: 23967228). FGF4 is amplified in several tumor types (PMID: 22890726, PMID: 8962718), including esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 29936056) and gastrointestinal stromal tumors, where amplification is associated with overexpression (PMID: 30887595). | ||||||||||
