| Gene Description | SMG6, SMG6 nonsense mediated mRNA decay factor, is a subunit of the telomerase ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complex and may play a role in regulation of telomere length (PMID: 12699629) and nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (PMID: 20930030). A SMG6 fusion with ALK has been observed in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 29667179). | ||||||||||
