| Gene Description | AUTS2, activator of transcription and developmental regulator AUTS2, plays a role in neurodevelopment, including acting as a nuclear component of a PRC1 complex that leads to transcriptional activation (PMID: 25519132), and regulating the Rho family GTPases within the cytoplasm to induce neurite outgrowth and neuronal migration (PMID: 25533347). Overexpression of AUTS2 has been identified in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 15334542) and nonseminomatous germ cell tumors (PMID: 22863192), and a PAX5-AUTS2 fusion has been identified in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 22578776). | ||||||||||
