| Gene Description | HIP1, huntingtin interacting protein 1, is an endocytic protein that regulates protein trafficking (PMD: 15059611). A HIP1-ALK fusion has been identified in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 25393796) and lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 24496003), and Hip1 overexpression has been associated with several tumor types including breast, lung, colon, prostate, and ovarian (PMID: 15059611). | ||||||||||
