| Gene Description | STING1, stimulator of interferon response cGAMP interactor 1, is an adapter protein that plays a role in innate immune response to pathogens (PMID: 29728611, PMID: 26603901, PMID: 28748479). STING1 dysregulation has been demonstrated in several tumor types (PMID: 28748479, PMID: 29728611), including decreased expression in melanoma (PMID: 27680683) and hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 27814372). | ||||||||||
