| Gene Description | STK26, serine/threonine kinase 26, is a member of the Ste20 family of serine/threonine kinases that plays a role in regulating cell proliferation through activation of the Mek/Erk pathway (PMID: 11641781, PMID: 17360971), and is a potential mediator of apoptosis (PMID: 11741893). An FGFR2-STK26 fusion has been identified in cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 32315234) and overexpression of STK26 has been identified in gastric cancer (PMID: 31807065) and hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 24859810). | ||||||||||
