| Gene Description | MAPK1, mitogen-activated protein kinase 1, translocates to the nucleus upon activation by upstream kinases, thereby influencing many cellular processes, including cell proliferation (PMID: 22450690). Dysregulation of MAPK1 is associated with several human tumor types (PMID: 12937136) and altered regulation of Mapk1 by a number of long coding RNAs (PMID: 32293550, PMID: 31819520), circular RNAs (PMID: 32110054), and micro-RNAs (PMID: 32266816, PMID: 31939714), has been frequently observed in various cancers. | ||||||||||
