| Gene Description | PAK5, p21 (RAC1) activated kinase 5, is a group II member of the p21-activated kinase family of serine/threonine kinases that plays a role in cell survival, proliferation, and migration (PMID: 26811660, PMID: 23685956). PAK5 overexpression has been associated with several tumor types, including colorectal, hepatocellular, and lung cancers (PMID: 23685956, PMID: 26212009, PMID: 26811660, PMID: 31805288, PMID: 29434926), while decreased expression has been associated with decreased survival in breast cancer (PMID: 31987914). | ||||||||||
