| Gene Description | RANBP2, RAN binding protein 2, plays a role in appropriate assembly of the nuclear envelope and ensures proper progression of mitosis and chromosomal segregation (PMID: 24113188). A RANBP2-ALK fusion has been identified in acute myelomonocytic leukemia, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (PMID: 24613277, PMID: 24470379, PMID: 12661011), and a RANBP2-FGFR1 fusion has been identified in myeloid neoplasm (PMID: 23041776). | ||||||||||
