| Gene Description | THRB, thyroid hormone receptor beta, is a nuclear receptor that functions as a transcription factor to mediate thyroid hormone signaling and plays a role in several biological processes including regulation of basal metabolism and growth (PMID: 20051527, PMID: 11427693). THRB mutations have been demonstrated in various tumor types, including hepatorcellular carcinoma (PMID: 22507269), and THRB may play a role in the immune response to lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 31921619). | ||||||||||
