| Gene Description | ZNF750, zinc finger protein 750, is a zinc finger transcription factor that plays a role in epidermal and keratinocyte differentiation (PMID: 22364861, PMID: 26545810) via interaction with chromatin regulators to induce or inhibit expression of target genes, thereby regulating epithelial homeostasis (PMID: 25228645). Mutations in ZNF750 have been identified in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 24686850), and loss of ZNF750 has been observed in ocular and cutaneous sebaceous carcinoma (PMID: 16751772). | ||||||||||
