| Gene Description | SETD7, SET domain containing 7, histone lysine methyltransferase, is a histone methyltransferase that regulates chromatin structure to activate and repress gene expression (PMID: 27046831). Setd7 influences a broad variety of targets and pathways with ties to cancer including Tp53, ER, YAP (PMID: 25136132, PMID: 27046831), and breast cancer (PMID: 26779630), and decreased expression has been reported in epithelial tumours (PMID: 31620473). | ||||||||||
