| Gene Description | ADAM18, ADAM metallopeptidase domain 18, is a member of the disintegrin and metalloprotease domain family of proteins that is expressed on the surface of sperm and may participate in oocyte binding (PMID: 12200459, PMID: 19951893). A fusion with ADAM18 and FGFR1 has been identified in breast cancer (PMID: 25500544) and ADAM18 mutations have been identified in melanoma (PMID: 21618342). | ||||||||||
