| Gene Description | TPTE2, transmembrane phosphoinositide 3-phosphatase and tensin homolog 2, is a member of the PTEN family and results in multiple alternative isoforms, including an isoform that results in phosphatase activity similar to Pten, thereby potentially acting as a tumor suppressor (PMID: 11716755, PMID: 22164291). Loss of TPTE2 has been identified in estrogen-receptor positive breast cancer (PMID: 23826350). | ||||||||||
