| Gene Description | ZEB2, zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 2, encodes a transcription factor that acts as a repressor or activator either alone or in a complex, playing a role in a variety of functions including the development of the nervous system (PMID: 26193487), differentiation and cell fate of immune cells (PMID: 26503445, PMID: 30076102, PMID: 26503446, PMID: 29449309), and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (PMID: 30462321). Increased ZEB2 expression has been observed in invasive colorectal cancer (PMID: 22042972), renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 23658743), and fusions with BCL11B have been identified in acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 31817495), and T cell lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 25565005). | ||||||||||
