| Gene Description | HDAC6, histone deacetylase 6, is a member of the class IIb HDAC family that functions in deacetylation of histone and non-histone proteins to repress transcription (PMID: 30472601) and plays a role in cell migration, angiogenesis, and modification of the immune response (PMID: 30430228, PMID: 30096875). Overexpression of Hdac6 has been observed in oral squamous cell carcinoma, ovarian carcinoma, and primary acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 30425065). | ||||||||||
