| Gene Description | PRMT3, protein arginine methyltransferase 3, is a cytoplasmic type I arginine methyltransferase involved in posttranslational modification of proteins including ribosomal protein-S2 (RPS2) (PMID: 21059412) and plays a role in maturation of ribosomes (PMID: 29244490). Overexpression of Prmt3 has been associated with decreased survival in pancreatic cancer (PMID: 31324208) and may be associated with resistance to chemotherapy (PMID: 30577570). | ||||||||||
