| Gene Description | CDK9, cyclin dependent kinase 9, interacts with cyclin-T1 (CCNT1) to form the positive transcription elongation factor B (P-TEFb) complex, which regulates transcription and mRNA processing (PMID: 28722178). Overexpression of Cdk9 in osteosarcoma correlates with poor prognosis (PMID: 30579871), may also play a role in mTOR driven acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 30587525) and AKT2 driven cervical cancer (PMID: 30536701), and is overexpressed in chordoma (PMID: 31892980). | ||||||||||
