| Gene Description | ADAR, double-stranded RNA-specific adenosine deaminase, post-transcriptionally converts adenosine to inosine in RNA (PMID: 24289319) and may regulate miRNA editing (PMID: 30197877). Aberrant Adar function has been associated with certain types of cancer (PMID: 24289319), including hepatocellular carcinoma, chronic myelogenous leukemia, glioblastoma and melanoma (PMID: 28974449). | ||||||||||
