| Gene Description | SEMA4D, semaphorin-4D, is a member of the class IV Semaphorin family that binds CD72, PLXN1B, PLXNB2, and PLXNC1 receptors and plays a role in regulation of the immune system, angiogenesis, and bone remodeling (PMID: 29971044). Overexpression of Sema4d has been observed in lymphoma, leukemia, prostate, glioma, lung, ovarian, sarcoma, and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, where it is associated with tumor aggressiveness and poor prognosis (PMID: 29971044). | ||||||||||
