| Gene Description | KDM5B, lysine demethylase 5B, is a histone demethylase regulating gene transcription through H3K4 histone and chromatin modification to regulate cell growth and proliferation (PMID: 32155529, PMID: 30448242). Abnormal Kdm5b expression has been reported in multiple cancer types including breast, prostate, bladder, and lung (PMID: 24937458) and overexpression has been associated with poor prognosis in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 31934196) and hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 30344945). | ||||||||||
