| Gene Description | SEPTIN9, septin 9, is a member of the septin family of GTP-binding proteins and localizes to the terminal ends of septin filaments (PMID: 28338090, PMID: 21740328). SEPT9 expresses multiple isoforms and while amplification has been associated with various neoplasms including breast cancer (PMID: 21831286), some isoforms may have a tumor suppressive function (PMID: 28338090). | ||||||||||
