| Gene Description | WDHD1, WD repeat and HMG-box DNA binding protein 1, encodes a cohesion establishment factor that plays a role in the assembly of replication complexes (PMID: 19805216, PMID: 20089864), recruitment of DNA helicases to the replication fork (PMID: 19661920, PMID: 27397686, PMID: 24255107), and in maintaining centromere integrity (PMID: 21266480). A fusion with FGFR2 and WDHD1 has been identified in cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 33218975) and increased expression of WDHD1 has been identified in lung cancer and esophageal cancer (PMID: 20028748). | ||||||||||
