| Gene Description | NLRP3, NLR family pyrin domain containing 3, is a member of the NOD-like receptor family that functions as a sensor protein in the NLRP3 inflammasome, which plays a role in immune response (PMID: 23066025, PMID: 27551512, PMID: 36275641). Altered expression of NLRP3 has been identified in several tumor types (PMID: 35026655), including increased expression in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 28865486) and decreased expression in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 24166187). | ||||||||||
