| Gene Description | CIRBP, cold inducible RNA-binding protein, plays a protective role in the genotoxic stress response by stabilizing transcripts of genes involved in cell survival and may play a role in DNA double strand break repair (PMID: 29432179). Overexpression of Cirbp has been implicated in human cancers (PMID: 19277990, PMID: 12819390) and observed in bladder cancer (PMID: 30315244), while loss of expression has been observed in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with poor outcomes (PMID: 31413636). | ||||||||||
