| Gene Description | DIS3L2, DIS3 like 3'-5' exoribonuclease 2, encodes an exoribonuclease that mediates degradation of RNA (PMID: 23503588, PMID: 23594738), and is involved in maintaining cellular homeostasis and growth regulation (PMID: 32457326, PMID: 33370287). Germline inactivating mutations of DIS3L2 are associated with Perlman syndrome and Wilms tumor susceptibility (PMID: 22306653, PMID: 23613427, PMID: 25018051), and decreased Dis3l2 expression has been reported in testicular germ cell tumor (PMID: 33777092). | ||||||||||
