| Gene Description | MAPK14, mitogen-activated protein kinase 14, is one of four p38 MAPKs (PMID: 31856414) that is involved in diverse cellular processes (PMID: 26377941) and mediates response to cellular stress (PMID: 29805078, PMID: 30332653). MAPK14 demonstrates both anti- and pro-tumorigenic roles in tumors of the breast, colon, lung, liver, and other tissues (PMID: 26377941), and elevated Mapk14 levels in serum have been observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 29747487). | ||||||||||
