| Gene Description | CYP2D6, cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily D member 6, is a member of the cytochrome P450 family of monooxygenases that catalyzes drug metabolism (PMID: 28480783). CYP2D6 variants have been associated with risks of various cancers (PMID: 22994728, PMID: 16550168) and may alter the metabolism of tamoxifen in breast cancer patients (PMID: 32270286, PMID: 31916635, PMID: 31821071, PMID: 31800347). | ||||||||||
