| Gene Description | ERCC5, ERCC excision repair 5, endonuclease, is a DNA endonuclease that participates in DNA excision repair (PMID: 3477874). ERCC5 mutations have been associated with susceptibility to gastric, esophageal, colorectal cancer (PMID: 29072052, PMID: 28952217, PMID: 28749454), and breast cancer (PMID: 31528641), and overexpression in hepatocellular carcinoma has been associated with poor prognosis (PMID: 31949747). | ||||||||||
