| Gene Description | FGF9, fibroblast growth factor 9, encodes for a member of the fibroblast growth factor family and paracrine FGF subfamily (PMID: 32161315), and plays a role in cell development processes including proliferation (PMID: 16982695). Aberrant expression of FGF9 has been associated with several tumor types including glioma, prostate, and ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinomas (PMID: 16982695), and Fgf9 overexpression has been observed in cisplatin resistant colorectal cancer (PMID: 32104224). | ||||||||||
