| Gene Description | CDK19, cyclin-dependent kinase 19, is a component of the multiprotein Mediator complex (MED), which is an activator of RNA polymerase II (Pol II) and plays a role in regulation of gene transcription (PMID: 27678455). Overexpression of Cdk19 has been associated with increased aggressiveness and decreased survival of prostate cancer patients (PMID: 27678455, PMID: 29568371). | ||||||||||
