| Gene Description | SZT2, SZT2 subunit of KICSTOR complex, encodes a protein that forms part of the KICSTOR complex, which functions in GATOR-dependent nutrient sensing and regulation of mTORC1 signaling (PMID: 28199315, PMID: 34685691), and also plays a role in regulating seizure threshold (PMID: 19624305). SZT2 mutations have been identified in breast cancer (PMID: 33685991) and head and neck cancer (PMID: 30970654). | ||||||||||
