| Gene Description | RYBP, RING1 and YY1 binding protein, is a component of a non-canonical PRC1 complex, and functions in monoubiquitylation of Histone 2A and facilitation of communication between PRC1 and PRC2 complexes, and plays a role in apoptosis and negative regulation of DNA repair (PMID: 29320735, PMID: 27705745, PMID: 29665352). Decreased expression of Rybp1 has been observed in several tumor types (PMID: 29665352), including lung cancer (PMID: 28254703), hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 28123534) and breast cancer (PMID: 27748911). | ||||||||||
