| Gene Description | BRD4, bromodomain containing 4, is a member of the bromodomain and extraterminal (BET) protein family and functions in chromatin remodeling and regulates transcription, DNA repair, and telomere maintenance (PMID: 30466442, PMID: 30542529). BRD4 fusions with NUTM1 (t15;19) are commonly found in the NUT midline subset of squamous cell carcinomas (PMID: 24736545), Brd4 overexpression has bee observed in pituitary adenoma (PMID: 32246150), and BRD4 amplification has been reported in high-grade serous ovarian cancer (PMID: 32044108). | ||||||||||
