| Gene Description | CTNNA3, catenin alpha 3, encodes a protein belonging to the alpha-catenin family that plays a role in cell adhesion (PMID: 29746206, PMID: 15366705), cardiomyocyte proliferation, and cardiac function (PMID: 29467248, PMID: 25305307, PMID: 22421363). CTNNA3 mutations have been identified in laryngeal cancer (PMID: 24100690), decreased expression has been identified in several tumor types (PMID: 29746206), including hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 26882563) and bladder urothelial carcinoma (PMID: 17366617), and a fusion with FGFR2 has been identified in neuroepithelial tumors (PMID: 27812792). | ||||||||||
