| Gene Description | LMNA, lamin A/C, is a component of the nuclear lamina that forms the structural framework of the nuclear envelope (PMID: 25283634) and may play a role in the response to DNA damage (PMID: 31647095). An LMNA fusion with NTRK1 has been identified in colorectal cancer (PMID: 31792356, PMID: 26563355) and congenital infantile fibrosarcoma (PMID: 26563356), and decreased Lmna expression has been associated with decreased survival in breast cancer (PMID: 30610489). | ||||||||||
