| Gene Description | BCAR4, breast cancer anti-estrogen resistance 4, encodes a long non-coding RNA that plays a role in regulating Yap-dependent glycolysis downstream of the Hippo pathway (PMID: 28963395) and mediating the epigenetic regulation of Hedgehog pathway targets to induce cell migration (PMID: 25416949). Increased BCAR4 expression has been observed in endocrine-resistant breast cancer (PMID: 22892392, PMID: 26317614), colon cancer (PMID: 29190958), and colorectal cancer (PMID: 30962766), and a fusion with CD63 has been identified in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 33204025). | ||||||||||
