Gene Description MST1R, macrophage stimulating 1 receptor, encodes the receptor tyrosine kinase RON, which acts as a receptor for macrophage-stimulating protein and is involved in cell migration and differentiation (PMID: 21543897, PMID: 23792360). Alterations in MST1R have been associated with several tumor types (PMID: 23792360) and overexpression of Mst1r has been associated with pancreatic cancer progression (PMID: 30967626).
