| Gene Description | ODC1, ornithine decarboxylase 1, encodes an enzyme that regulates polyamine metabolism, which plays a role in a number of normal cellular and tissue functions (PMID: 30181570, PMID: 29767087). Overexpression of ODC1 has been observed in a variety of tumor types including endometrial cancer (PMID: 29240775), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 29872701), and neuroblastoma (PMID: 19047152). | ||||||||||
