| Gene Description | WAC, WW domain containing adaptor with coiled-coil, plays a role in multiple cellular processes via protein-protein interactions (PMID: 11827461) including associations with SRSF2, a component of the mRNA splicing complex (PMID: 11827461), RNF20/40, which functions in ubiquitination, cell cycle control, RNA Polymerase II, and transcription (PMID: 21329877), VCIP135, which is involved in membrane fusion (PMID: 21811234), and components of the mTOR pathway, potentially acting as a regulator of autophagy (PMID: 26812014). An FGFR2-WAC fusion has been identified in cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 32315234) and a WAC-RET fusion has been identified in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 29935851). | ||||||||||
