|Gene Description||PIK3C2B, phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit type 2 beta, is a class II PI3K, which functions to catalyze production of PtdIns3P and plays a role in cell migration and proliferation (PMID: 25233418, PMID: 23320105, PMID: 22507127). PIK3C2B mutations have been identified in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 22510280), and PIK3C2B overexpression has been demonstrated in several tumor types, including neuroblastoma (PMID: 25622909) and breast cancer (PMID: 26934321).|
