| Gene Description | PLAG1, PLAG1 zinc finger, is also known as pleomorphic adenoma gene 1 and is a mitogenic transcription factor that induces expression of a variety of genes regulating cell proliferation, including IGF2 (PMID: 26577933). PLAG1 rearrangements have been identified in pleomorphic adenoma (PMID: 30307055), lipoblastoma (PMID: 17332914, PMID: 31094927, PMID: 30857637), and uterine myxoid leiomyosarcoma (PMID: 30489320), and amplification of PLAG1 has been observed in lipoblastoma (PMID: 31614359). | ||||||||||
