| Gene Description | BCL11A, BCL11 transcription factor A, is a zinc finger transcription factor that primarily plays a role in transcriptional repression (PMID: 32625084), with involvement in lymphoid development (PMID: 12717432) and the fetal to adult hemoglobin switch (PMID: 19056937, PMID: 19657335). Overexpression of BCL11A has been observed in natural killer/T-cell lymphoma (PMID: 32625084) and breast cancer (PMID: 31114347), including triple-negative breast cancer (PMID: 32218847), and a BCL11A-ALK fusion has been identified in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 31122560). | ||||||||||
