| Gene Description | PPP1CB, protein phosphatase 1 catalytic subunit beta, is a component of the type 1 serine/threonine phosphatase phosphoprotein phosphatase 1 (PPP1) holoenzyme and is involved in regulating glycogen metabolism (PMID: 9045612), muscle contraction (PMID: 1336455, PMID: 20675715), and adipogenesis (PMID: 26449462). PPP1CB-ALK fusions have been identified in glioma (PMID: 30709888), astrocytoma (PMID: 28069802), uterine leiomyosarcoma (PMID: 30116888), and PPP1CB fusions with YPEL5 have been reported in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (PMID: 23382248). | ||||||||||
