| Gene Description | LRRC1, leucine rich repeat containing 1, is a paralog of the tumor suppressor protein, SCRIB, that interacts with Maguk and Erbin proteins in epithelial cells (PMID: 11440998), and has been demonstrated to play a role in stem cell fate in mammary glands through the Wnt pathway (PMID: 30344009). Overexpression of LRRC1 has been identified in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 23645086) and a fusion with TRAF has been identified in lung cancer (PMID: 30294322). | ||||||||||
