| Gene Description | RFC2, replication factor C subunit 2, encodes the 40-kDA subunit of the replication factor C complex, which loads PCNA onto DNA (PMID: 9488738, PMID: 34751190), and is involved in DNA replication (PMID: 10656791, PMID: 10656792) and maintenance of genomic stability (PMID: 33339954). RFC2 amplification has been identified in glioblastoma (PMID: 15494095) and Rfc2 overexpression has been identified in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (PMID: 21057896), hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 34022962), colorectal cancer (PMID: 32239691), and chronic myeloid leukemia (PMID: 17949234). | ||||||||||
