| Gene Description | RFC4, replication factor C subunit 4, encodes the 37-kDa subunit of the replication factor C complex, which loads PCNA onto DNA (PMID: 9488738, PMID: 34751190), and is involved in DNA replication (PMID: 10656791, PMID: 10656792), maintenance of genomic stability (PMID: 33339954), and checkpoint control (PMID: 11438670). RFC4 overexpression has been demonstrated in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 34053971), colorectal cancer (PMID: 25407051), cervical cancer (PMID: 17243165), and HPV-positive head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 16467079). | ||||||||||
