| Gene Description | BMP4, bone morphogenetic protein 4, is a member of the transforming growth factor beta family involved in regulation of cell proliferation, cell differentiation, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (PMID: 28987388). Overexpression of Bmp4 has been observed in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 28987388, PMID: 32201526), colorectal cancer (PMID: 28611046), and thyroid carcinoma (PMID: 28214211), and may abolish tumor stem cells in glioma (PMID: 32102285). | ||||||||||
